# Asset and service notes

Dela Gothic One and Figtree Latin font subsets are hosted locally under the
SIL Open Font License. Their full notices are in assets/fonts/*-OFL.txt.

Game icons, social cards and the category/arena vector illustrations added in
the 2026-10-23 audit are original HTML/CSS/SVG artwork. Category illustrations
are symbolic hints, not official retailer photography. Product names in the
price-puzzle catalog identify reference game items; prices have no verified
collection date and are not live store quotes. Category illustrations remain
historical source assets and are no longer used as product pictures.

## Product photographs — 2026-10-25

The 152 game items now use individually matched real product or retail packaging
photos. 151 load from their public image URLs, principally Costco/Costco Business
Center, Costco Food Database and the individual retailers recorded in the photo
manifest. Images remain the property of their respective owners; public access,
attribution and direct linking are not asserted to grant a photo licence or imply
retailer endorsement. Store prices on source pages are not the puzzle prices.

The YardLine Turbo Racer image at `assets/products/yardline-turbo-racer-white.webp`
is a white-background derivative of the public product photograph on
https://recalls-rappels.canada.ca/en/alert-recall/turbo-racer-and-cloud-racer-playsets-wooden-roof-recalled-due-entrapment-hazard
using the built-in image_gen editing tool, explicitly approved by the owner on
2026-10-25. This changes the background; it is not an unedited source photograph
and is not asserted to preserve every foreground pixel. The product and existing
people were visually compared with the source.

The per-item URLs, product-page provenance, processing details and checks are
retained in `research/2026-10-25-product-photos/manifest.json` and the accompanying
CSV/review gallery in the source repository. Packaging and views may change;
some photos show one unit from a multipack. Use the displayed puzzle quantity.

The existing optional Vercel Web Analytics / Speed Insights integrations are
retained for public hosting, with a visible privacy note. Local previews do
not request Vercel-only analytics endpoints. No advertising was added.
