How to play Costcodle
Every item has a fixed reference value in this game. Read its name and package size, then use the higher/lower hint to narrow your next guess.
- Green: within 5% of the target, which wins the round.
- Yellow: within 25%. Red: farther away. Text labels and arrows explain the same hints.
- On a $50 puzzle, guesses from $47.50 to $52.50 win.
- Daily uses the UTC date. Unlimited selects another item from the 152-entry catalog; repeats are possible.
The photos show real products or packaging. Puzzle values are not current retail quotes, and no particular strategy guarantees a win.

How do I win?
Enter a positive dollar amount. A guess within 5% of the stored puzzle price wins. Otherwise an arrow tells you whether the target is higher or lower. You have six guesses.
When does the daily challenge reset?
The daily item is selected using the UTC calendar date. Reload after midnight UTC for the next challenge. Unlimited mode lets you keep playing from the same reference catalog.
Are these current store prices?
No. These are fixed reference values in the game catalog, without a verified collection date. They are not live prices, offers or shopping advice. Actual prices vary by location and date.
Do the photos show the exact packaging?
These are real product or packaging photos from public sources. Packaging and views can change, and a photo may show one unit of a multipack. Use the complete product name, package size and quantity when making your guess.
What is stored on my device?
Your statistics, completed daily results and sound preference are stored in this browser when storage is available. They do not sync to another device and can be removed by clearing site data.
Is this an official Costco game?
No. This is an independent fan-made price puzzle. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Costco Wholesale Corporation.
Can I play past daily Costcodle puzzles?
This edition has the current UTC daily item and Unlimited mode, which draws from its 152-item catalog. It does not offer a date-picker archive or reproduce another site’s daily puzzle.

Game records and sound settings stay in this browser. No account is needed. The host may use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate visits and performance; hosting also produces standard request logs. Product photos load from external retailer and image-host domains, which receive standard image requests. There are no advertising scripts in this version. Fonts & asset notes.
